Year 1 Money worksheets for year 1 maths. Pupils in year 1 are ages 5-6 years old. Pupils in year 1 are expected to recognise the eight standard British coins; £2, £1, 50p, 20p, 10p, 5, 2p and 1p. Some pupils will be able to find total amounts in their "teens", such as by adding 10p with 2p and 1p coins. Year 1 maths pupils are expected to match the total amount with the amounts given, for example on a price tag. Each file is a PDF printable worksheet ready to download.
